Welding

There has always been strong demand for welders in the building, construction, industry and engineering sectors.

Welding is a cross transferable skill that is sought after in the Aerospace, Petrochemical, Power generation, Shipbuilding, Bridge construction, Transportation and Oil and gas sectors. These Programme provide an intense but comprehensive training of welding instruction for those with little or no welding experience. They can be tailored to meet a employee objectives no matter what their requirements. At the end of the training , employees will gain an industry recognized welding qualification which will demonstrate their competence to any future prospective employer.

Training is aimed at giving employees a good foundation in key areas such as joint design, the welding of carbon or stainless steel and learning about the latest techniques required
for basic or high technology welding. You will develop the skills required for basic welding as well as complex welding.

The style of training is aimed at making employees feel confident in their surroundings and focused on getting them

to become familiar with welding equipment in the shortest time possible. Employees will be trained in fully equipped workshops, and under the close supervision of fully qualified senior welders. Through product simulated workmanship exercises they will learn how to carry out welding tasks competently and to the required standard. Apart from learning how to work on pipes, sheet materials, and joints, delegates will also be taught how to weld a wide range of metals such as steel, aluminium, copper
and cast iron.

Employees will be trained by senior company welders, many of whom are themselves professionally trained and certificated welders. Curriculums promote practical welding proficiency and give trainees a sound theoretical understanding of all the processes. Modules can cover basic, intermediate or advanced levels, and will teach welding to approved British, European and International Standards.
